The first step
The first step is to choose the best red ginger seeds. In traditional markets, red ginger rhizome seeds are available. However, if you can get it directly from the village or a friend's plant, it's certainly better.
The characteristics of quality red ginger seeds that need to be considered include; the size of the rhizome is large, the condition is still fresh and not wrinkled. Also healthy, whole, and free from pests and diseases. Finally, the color of the rhizome is still bright and fit.
If you already have the best red ginger seeds, first put them in a cool room. Do watering with water for some time so that the red ginger rhizome shoots out.
While waiting for the shoots to grow, rotten seeds can be found which must be separated immediately so that they do not spread to other seedlings. Choose seeds that have sprouted for planting.
Second step
After the seeds are safe, prepare the planting media. Process the planting medium by hoeing or plowing to loosen the soil. If necessary, fertilize.
